Overview: The Campaign Game "Call to Arms" was conceived of as an excellent way to use the Arsenal's Tacops 0.1.2 engine, created by Major I.L. Holdridge, as a vehicle for an extended Play By Email (PBEM) Game. The campaign game is designed to be played as a multi-player team effort, pitting a hypothetical US/Canadian divisional force against a Soviet-equipped OPFOR division in a meeting engagement to capture major military and civilian objectives in an imaginary European country.
Introduction: The Call to Arms Campaign will represent the invasion of the tiny Republic of Freedonia by the division-level forces of OPFOR (assumed to be the highly trained and Russian units, part of a military expansionist Russian Empire). NATO divisional forces have been sent in to seize key objectives and secure the cities from invasion and eventual crippling of the fallen government. Because of its proximity, the populace is neutral to hostile towards the forces of either sides. Despite this, the UN has evacuated all cities and townships prior to arrival of troops...
